In order to provide the Dolphins a stadium for their home games, this comprehensive renovation was completed in three phases:
In 2015 renovation, brand new innovative seats were installed in the entire stadium. Modern food concessions and amenities were added in 100 and 300 level concourses. Brand new rooms were added: Field Club, North Sideline Club, Corner Terraces, and Suites. The existing Living Room was upgraded with premium interior finishes, high-definition TVs, individual recliners, and an indoor lounge.
In 2016 renovation, a new open-air roof was introduced to become the stadium’s signature architectural element. This canopy not only provides weather protection and sun shading but it also amplifies crowd noise to enhance the game day experience. In addition, high-definition video boards with fiber-optic Wifi and new audio system were installed in each corner of the stadium.
In 2017 renovation, all existing premium suites in 200 Club and 200 Mezzanine levels were upgraded. New sideline and endzone suites were introduced. Club interiors had high-end wall, flooring and ceiling systems. Existing drink rails and individual seat options were also replaced.
This project is completed under HOK in Kansas City.
